AbstractThe PhD subject deals with a fundamental feature of cold rolling, with major industrial applications : modelling product-tool friction. The objective of the work is to model the mixed / boundary lubrication regime prevailing in cold strip rolling, including the impact of contact temperature on lubricant components behaviour and on the surface damage due to adhesive transfer (figure 1)
ProfileMechanics, Numerical modeling, Python language.
A first experience, theoretical or practical, in tribology and/or thermal transfer will be appreciated.
A motivation for experiments is necessary.
Rigor, dedication to a subject, aptitude to teamworking are important
Mastering of the English language is necessary (level B2 minimum)
