Suzanne Renard, is the second MINES ParisTech student in 2 years, to be awarded in the 2011 Global Social Venture Competition

Thanks to the endeavours of Suzanne Renard, student of the master's degree in science & executive engineering, the Prakti Design venture ranked second in the Social Impact Assessment category of the Global Social Venture Competition (GSVC), at Berkeley on 7 April 2011.

By designing and promoting the use of locally adapted and fuel efficient cookstoves, Prakti design aims at improving the lives, health and environment of millions affected by cookstove pollution. During the competition, Suzanne received important support from the Minor "Innovation and Entrepreneurship" of MINES ParisTech, and the Institute for the Innovation, and the Social Entrepreneurship of the ESSEC.
